DCS announce the incorporation of DCS Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, based in Sydney Australia, to replicate the insurance services DCS provide to the London Insurance market in Australasia. From January 2005, the Financial Services Authority
will regulate the insurance industry for the sale of general insurance.
At this stage Professional Liability insurance does not come within
the scope of the proposed regulation, but the FSA’s remit
may broaden at a later stage. With this in mind, DCS have adapted
their written Agreements and internal procedures to ensure their
clients are not in breach of the responsibilities imposed on them
by regulation. We would be happy to supply you with further information
regarding the FSA’s requirements and how DCS can fulfil them,
upon request.

audits in Sydney, Australia on behalf of 2 Lloyd's Syndicates.

Arch Insurance (Europe) Ltd appoint DCS as
claims administrators in respect of all classes of business underwritten
from their London and European offices. Arch expect a capacity of
around £100m for the 2005 year.
