DCS continue strenghtening their Specialty Lines Division with the arrival of Claire Dawe (formerly Axa) and John Naughton (formerly Capita) to handle Marine and Energy claims respectively.

DCS announce the incorporation of DCS Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, based in Sydney Australia, to replicate the insurance services DCS provide to the London Insurance market in Australasia.  It is intended that DCS Asia Pacific commence trading in November 2005.  Please monitor http://www.dcsclaims.com.au/ for further details.

DCS Ltd recruit Rob March (Dip CII) to head-up their growing Professional Indemnity Broking Division.  Rob joins DCS with 15 years insurance broking experience, most recently with SBJ Group, where he was a Divisional Director. CV

DCS complete a claims review (1993-2004) of the Northern Ireland Law Society for London market insurers.

DCS undertake a claims audit in Sydney Australia for London market insurer.

From January 2005, the Financial Services Authority will regulate the insurance industry for the sale of general insurance. At this stage Professional Liability insurance does not come within the scope of the proposed regulation, but the FSA’s remit may broaden at a later stage. With this in mind, DCS have adapted their written Agreements and internal procedures to ensure their clients are not in breach of the responsibilities imposed on them by regulation. We would be happy to supply you with further information regarding the FSA’s requirements and how DCS can fulfil them, upon request.

DCS undertake both claims and underwriting audits in Sydney, Australia on behalf of 2 Lloyd's Syndicates.

August 2004

Arch Insurance (Europe) Ltd appoint DCS as claims administrators in respect of all classes of business underwritten from their London and European offices. Arch expect a capacity of around £100m for the 2005 year.

July 2004

Ingrid Karhammar joins DCS' Specialty Lines division from Mills & Reeve - a City law firm.

July 2004

DCS establish a Specialty Lines Division, headed by Matt Howes, to adminsiter D&O, FI, Banks, Property and On-shore / Off-shore Energy claims.
